Flying Conditions: (also more details on IFO Flight Notes page)
How much wind can the IFO fly in?
"0" mph wind if flying IFO for the first time 0 to 5 mph for normal outdoor flying 5 to 10 mph for experienced IFO flyers 10 to 15 mph could be asking for trouble BUT if the wind is very steady (like an ocean breeze) it could be fun but be very careful.
If I am ready to fly Indoors, how big of an area do I need?
A school gym is perfect. If you have access to a big enough warehouse or hangar, that will work as well. The Mini IFO flies a little more comfortably indoors just because it's smaller
Can I fly IFO at night?
We've flown IFO under the street lights just fine but I would suggest that you should already be very comfortable flying IFO in the daytime. Several IFO pilots have attached LED's to their IFO and it has worked just fine.
