NEW!
Everyone tells me I should show you my IFOs. I have been flying them for around 10 years and have become known as the “IFO Guru”.
I now use a E-flite 250, 2 gram Spektrum receiver, 6 gram digital Spektrum servos and Castle Creation Phoenix 10 ESC lightened to 4 grams. I use 2 mm Depron foam for the side area, which allows it to be controlled in a hover. I painted it with ink sprayed on with an airbrush. I lightened the servos to 4.5 grams each. It weighs just under 3 oz. The picture is last year at Show “N” Tell for the Midwest Performance Flyers.
I have added a working rudder landing gear top & bottom. I have 3 IFOs the last one is scratch built with lighter carbon rods.
Here is a link to a video of my latest IFO. http://www.youtube.com/

"It (T-IFO) slows down really well! It will make a fantastic indoor plane! However I was surprised at how well it did in a little wind! Yes it has the A!"

"I have been having so much fun...Thanks!"
"It doesn't really matter where you live or how far the flying site is, IFO can be flown just about anywhere. ...not easy for Carl who lives deep in the woods by Pine Point, Lake Tahoe, NV to get to a flying site but he just found one - on top of his flat roof and better yet, it's a flying site with a view!"-Carl Strickland |

IFO Gang, NC
From left to right, Ross Culp, Larry Lewis, Robert Vess, and Jeff Jenkins stir up the autumn air at the Raleigh Aeromasters flying site. Visible in the air are three IFO's. Five of the growing number of IFO's in the Raleigh area: Front left to right are the MKII of Rob Court with a Halloween trash bag covering, the luminescent cellophane Butterfly scheme on Robert Vess's MK3, the MK3 of Jeff Jenkins (using kit supplied covering), and in the rear are two Hobbytown USA trash bag covered MKII's belonging to Larry Lewis and Ross Culp. All five use Lithium Duralite batteries."

IFO Combat Team, Mojave, CA
IFO fun has proved to be so contagious at Scaled Composites, Mojave, CA that at the end of each work week, Dan Kreigh and his coworkers engage in friendly IFO combat having a many as seven IFOs in the air at once swirling around each other in a cloud of colors and streamers.

"I am 80 years old... flew a lot of planes. My two IFOs are the Greatest and the most fun standing up that a man my age ever experiences. Great days in the morning...." -Hugh Wayman |
